Summary: Daily Bible reading for 2026-10-12: Kingdom Politics. Reflections on Kingdom of god, Justice, Obedience and links to cited verse pages.

1. Again, in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
2. “Son of man, write the name of the day, this same day. The king of Babylon drew close to Jerusalem this same day.
3. Utter a parable to the rebellious house, and tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says, “Put the cauldron on the fire. Put it on, and also pour water into it.
4. Gather its pieces into it, even every good piece: the thigh and the shoulder. Fill it with the choice bones.
5. Take the choice of the flock, and also a pile of wood for the bones under the cauldron. Make it boil well. Yes, let its bones be boiled within it.”
6. “ ‘Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “Woe to the bloody city, to the cauldron whose rust is in it, and whose rust hasn’t gone out of it! Take out of it piece after piece. No lot is fallen on it.
7. “ ‘ “For her blood is in the middle of her. She set it on the bare rock. She didn’t pour it on the ground, to cover it with dust.
8. That it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have set her blood on the bare rock, that it should not be covered.”
9. “ ‘Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
10. Heap on the wood. Make the fire hot. Boil the meat well. Make the broth thick, and let the bones be burned.
11. Then set it empty on its coals, that it may be hot, and its bronze may burn, and that its filthiness may be molten in it, that its rust may be consumed.
12. She is weary with toil; yet her great rust, rust by fire, doesn’t leave her.
13. “ ‘ “In your filthiness is lewdness. Because I have cleansed you and you weren’t cleansed, you won’t be cleansed from your filthiness any more, until I have caused my wrath toward you to rest.
14. I, Yahweh, have spoken it. It will happen, and I will do it. I won’t go back. I won’t spare. I won’t repent. According to your ways, and according to your doings, they will judge you,” says the Lord Yahweh.’ ”
15. Also Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
16. “Son of man, behold, I will take away from you the desire of your eyes with a stroke: yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, neither shall your tears run down.
17. Sigh, but not aloud. Make no mourning for the dead. Bind your headdress on you, and put your sandals on your feet. Don’t cover your lips, and don’t eat mourner’s bread.”
18. So I spoke to the people in the morning; and at evening my wife died. So I did in the morning as I was commanded.
19. The people asked me, “Won’t you tell us what these things are to us, that you do so?”
20. Then I said to them, “Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
21. ‘Speak to the house of Israel, “The Lord Yahweh says: ‘Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pities; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind will fall by the sword.
22. You will do as I have done. You won’t cover your lips or eat mourner’s bread.
23. Your turbans will be on your heads, and your sandals on your feet. You won’t mourn or weep; but you will pine away in your iniquities, and moan one toward another.
24. Thus Ezekiel will be a sign to you; according to all that he has done, you will do. When this comes, then you will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.’ ” ’ ”
25. “You, son of man, shouldn’t it be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their heart, their sons and their daughters,
26. that in that day he who escapes will come to you, to cause you to hear it with your ears?
27. In that day your mouth will be opened to him who has escaped, and you will speak, and be no more mute. So you will be a sign to them. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.”

1. Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
2. “Son of man, set your face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them.
3. Tell the children of Ammon, ‘Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh! The Lord Yahweh says, “Because you said, ‘Aha!’ against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity:
4. therefore, behold, I will deliver you to the children of the east for a possession. They will set their encampments in you, and make their dwellings in you. They will eat your fruit and they will drink your milk.
5. I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the children of Ammon a resting place for flocks. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”
6. For the Lord Yahweh says: “Because you have clapped your hands, stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the contempt of your soul against the land of Israel;
7. therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries. I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”
8. “ ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Because Moab and Seir say, ‘Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations;’
9. therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim,
10. to the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations.
11. I will execute judgments on Moab. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.”
12. “ ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and taken revenge on them;”
13. therefore the Lord Yahweh says, “I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman. They will fall by the sword even to Dedan.
14. I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel. They will do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath. Then they will know my vengeance,” says the Lord Yahweh.
15. “ ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Because the Philistines have taken revenge, and have taken vengeance with contempt of soul to destroy with perpetual hostility;”
16. therefore the Lord Yahweh says, “Behold, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
17. I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes. Then they will know that I am Yahweh, when I lay my vengeance on them.” ’ ”
  Ezekiel Ezekiel 24

I am the Lord. I have spoken; it shall come to pass; I will do it. I will not go back; I will not spare; I will not relent; according to your ways and your deeds you will be judged, declares the Lord God.” - Eze 24:14
God is not some fairy tale, but a active person in our lives, not to be taken granted. He is a loving father and as a father will reprimand His children when they do wrong.

“ you shall not mourn or weep, but… “ -  Eze 24:23
This must have been a hard thing to do, but Ezekiel did as he was told to, when his wife passed away and was told to continue his work and not mourn her, I am sure he prayed for Heavenly strength to do that, Father help me to do your will even when it is hard, in your strength I can do what you ask of me, in Jesus name I pray.

“ For thus says the Lord God: Because f_you have clapped your hands and stamped your feet and rejoiced with all the malice within your soul against the land of Israel, “ - Eze 25:6
Those who oppose God’s children will be dealt with, so we have no need to seek vengance, as God will sort things out, we should be faithful to Him, God has warriors that carry out His will, if you are not one of His warriors then let them do thier job and you be faithful.
15. The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever!”
16. The twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones before God’s throne, fell on their faces and worshiped God,
17. saying: “We give you thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the one who is and who was; because you have taken your great power and reigned.
18. The nations were angry, and your wrath came, as did the time for the dead to be judged, and to give your bondservants the prophets, their reward, as well as to the saints, and those who fear your name, to the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”
19. God’s temple that is in heaven was opened, and the ark of the Lord’s covenant was seen in his temple. Lightnings, sounds, thunders, an earthquake, and great hail followed.

1. A great sign was seen in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
2. She was with child. She cried out in pain, laboring to give birth.
3. Another sign was seen in heaven. Behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven crowns.
4. His tail drew one third of the stars of the sky, and threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.
5. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron. Her child was caught up to God, and to his throne.
6. The woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that there they may nourish her one thousand two hundred sixty days.
7. There was war in the sky. Michael and his angels made war on the dragon. The dragon and his angels made war.
8. They didn’t prevail. No place was found for them any more in heaven.
9. The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
10. I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ has come; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.
11. They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death.
12. Therefore rejoice, heavens, and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and to the sea, because the devil has gone down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has but a short time.”
13. When the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.
14. Two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, so that she might be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
15. The serpent spewed water out of his mouth after the woman like a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream.
16. The earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon spewed out of his mouth.
17. The dragon grew angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep God’s commandments and hold Jesus’ testimony.
  Revelation Revelation 11

The reading today seems very interesting, almost like time shifts. Its almost like the Holy Spirit gives birth to Jesus, and God takes Jesus and put Him in heaven ( this seems like when Jesus came and was born, died and rose from the dead then ascended), then time shifts to when Satan was cast out from heaven and pursued God and the believers. I can be very much on the wrong path here, but given the gift of visualising things, I can see the description unfold as I read and find it amazing.
1. Elihu also continued, and said,
2. “Bear with me a little, and I will show you; for I still have something to say on God’s behalf.
3. I will get my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
4. For truly my words are not false. One who is perfect in knowledge is with you.
5. “Behold, God is mighty, and doesn’t despise anyone. He is mighty in strength of understanding.
6. He doesn’t preserve the life of the wicked, but gives justice to the afflicted.
7. He doesn’t withdraw his eyes from the righteous, but with kings on the throne, he sets them forever, and they are exalted.
8. If they are bound in fetters, and are taken in the cords of afflictions,
9. then he shows them their work, and their transgressions, that they have behaved themselves proudly.
10. He also opens their ears to instruction, and commands that they return from iniquity.
11. If they listen and serve him, they will spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
12. But if they don’t listen, they will perish by the sword; they will die without knowledge.
  Job Job 36

6 He does not keep the wicked alive, but gives the afflicted their right. - Job 36:6
God id the god of justice we should be careful to heed this as He will hand out justice.

11 If they listen and serve him, they complete their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasantness.
12 But if they do not listen, they perish by the sword and die without knowledge - Job 36:11-12

God is in control and heed His word, people of power hold that position by the grace of God and if they do not turn from their ways he will remove them, Lord I pray for strong leaders to be elevated and are given positions of power and fallen leaders that do not bend their knee to you Father that they are removed and dealt with your wrath and vengeance as your Word says. Help me father to play my role and draw me closer to you, in Jesus name.
