Words and Actions

Ezekiel 12:1-13:23 - WEB-OFFLINEBibleGateway ↗

1. Yahweh’s word also came to me, saying, 2. “Son of man, you dwell in the middle of the rebellious house, who have eyes to see, and don’t see, who have ears to hear, and don’t hear; for they are a rebellious house. 3. “Therefore, you son of man, prepare your stuff for moving, and move by day in their sight. You shall move from your place to another place in their sight. It may be they will consider, though they are a rebellious house. 4. You shall bring out your stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for moving. You shall go out yourself at evening in their sight, as when men go out into exile. 5. Dig through the wall in their sight, and carry your stuff out that way. 6. In their sight you shall bear it on your shoulder, and carry it out in the dark. You shall cover your face, so that you don’t see the land, for I have set you for a sign to the house of Israel.” 7. I did so as I was commanded. I brought out my stuff by day, as stuff for moving, and in the evening I dug through the wall with my hand. I brought it out in the dark, and bore it on my shoulder in their sight. 8. In the morning, Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 9. “Son of man, hasn’t the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said to you, ‘What are you doing?’ 10. “Say to them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “This burden concerns the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel among whom they are.” ’ 11. “Say, ‘I am your sign. As I have done, so will it be done to them. They will go into exile, into captivity. 12. “ ‘The prince who is among them will bear on his shoulder in the dark, and will go out. They will dig through the wall to carry things out that way. He will cover his face, because he will not see the land with his eyes. 13. I will also spread my net on him, and he will be taken in my snare. I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet he will not see it, though he will die there. 14. I will scatter toward every wind all who are around him to help him, and all his bands. I will draw out the sword after them. 15. “ ‘They will know that I am Yahweh when I disperse them among the nations, and scatter them through the countries. 16. But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence, that they may declare all their abominations among the nations where they come. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’ ” 17. Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 18. “Son of man, eat your bread with quaking, and drink your water with trembling and with fearfulness. 19. Tell the people of the land, ‘The Lord Yahweh says concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the land of Israel: “They will eat their bread with fearfulness, and drink their water in dismay, that her land may be desolate, and all that is therein, because of the violence of all those who dwell therein. 20. The cities that are inhabited will be laid waste, and the land will be a desolation. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.” ’ ” 21. Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 22. “Son of man, what is this proverb that you have in the land of Israel, saying, ‘The days are prolonged, and every vision fails?’ 23. Tell them therefore, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “I will make this proverb to cease, and they will no more use it as a proverb in Israel;” ’ but tell them, ‘ “The days are at hand, and the fulfillment of every vision. 24. For there will be no more any false vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel. 25. For I am Yahweh. I will speak, and the word that I speak will be performed. It will be no more deferred; for in your days, rebellious house, I will speak the word, and will perform it,” says the Lord Yahweh.’ ” 26. Again Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 27. “Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, ‘The vision that he sees is for many days to come, and he prophesies of times that are far off.’ 28. “Therefore tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “None of my words will be deferred any more, but the word which I speak will be performed,” says the Lord Yahweh.’ ”

1. Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 2. “Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy out of their own heart, ‘Hear Yahweh’s word: 3. The Lord Yahweh says, “Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! 4. Israel, your prophets have been like foxes in the waste places. 5. You have not gone up into the gaps or built up the wall for the house of Israel, to stand in the battle in Yahweh’s day. 6. They have seen falsehood and lying divination, who say, ‘Yahweh says;’ but Yahweh has not sent them. They have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed. 7. Haven’t you seen a false vision, and haven’t you spoken a lying divination, in that you say, ‘Yahweh says;’ but I have not spoken?” 8. “ ‘Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “Because you have spoken falsehood and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you,” says the Lord Yahweh. 9. “My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and who utter lying divinations. They will not be in the council of my people, neither will they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither will they enter into the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.” 10. “ ‘Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, “Peace;” and there is no peace. When one builds up a wall, behold, they plaster it with whitewash. 11. Tell those who plaster it with whitewash that it will fall. There will be an overflowing shower; and you, great hailstones, will fall. A stormy wind will tear it. 12. Behold, when the wall has fallen, won’t it be said to you, “Where is the plaster with which you have plastered it?” 13. “ ‘Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “I will even tear it with a stormy wind in my wrath. There will be an overflowing shower in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it. 14. So I will break down the wall that you have plastered with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation will be uncovered. It will fall, and you will be consumed in the middle of it. Then you will know that I am Yahweh. 15. Thus I will accomplish my wrath on the wall, and on those who have plastered it with whitewash. I will tell you, ‘The wall is no more, neither those who plastered it; 16. to wit, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace,’ ” says the Lord Yahweh.’ ” 17. You, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy against them, 18. and say, “The Lord Yahweh says: ‘Woe to the women who sew pillows on all elbows, and make kerchiefs for the head of persons of every stature to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of my people, and save souls alive for yourselves? 19. You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls who should not die, and to save the souls alive who should not live, by your lying to my people who listen to lies.’ 20. “Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘Behold, I am against your pillows, with which you hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms. I will let the souls go, even the souls whom you hunt to make them fly. 21. I will also tear your kerchiefs, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they will be no more in your hand to be hunted. Then you will know that I am Yahweh. 22. Because with lies you have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive. 23. Therefore you shall no more see false visions, nor practice divination. I will deliver my people out of your hand. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.’ ”

> Ezekiel Ezekiel 12

“ Son of man, eat your bread with quaking, and drink water with trembling and with anxiety. ”  Eze 12:18

Being aware of the way that the society that we live in, how they turn their back on the Lord, maybe this has to do with being the salt and light in the, are that you are.

Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: None of my words will be delayed any longer, but the word that I speak will be performed, declares the Lord God.”  Eze 12:28

When God speaks, He speaks and we should listern.

“ Thus says the Lord God, Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! “  Eze 13:3

Be careful who speaks, as the person speaking is very well not being truthful.

“ Precisely because they have misled my people, saying, ‘Peace,’ when there is no peace, and because, when the people build a wall, these prophets smear it with whitewash,.. “ Eze 13:10

This is similar to what Jesus called the Pharisees.

“Thus will I spend my wrath upon the wall and upon those who have smeared it with whitewash ”  Eze 13:15.

“therefore you shall no more see false visions nor practice divination.” Eze 13:23 God makes it very clear here that He will not stand for magic and similar lies, and deals with it directly.

Revelation 3:14-4:11 - WEB-OFFLINEBibleGateway ↗

14. “To the angel of the assembly in Laodicea write: “The Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of God’s creation, says these things: 15. “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot. 16. So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of my mouth. 17. Because you say, ‘I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing;’ and don’t know that you are the wretched one, miserable, poor, blind, and naked; 18. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, that you may become rich; and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see. 19. As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent. 20. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me. 21. He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.”

1. After these things I looked and saw a door opened in heaven, and the first voice that I heard, like a trumpet speaking with me, was one saying, “Come up here, and I will show you the things which must happen after this.” 2. Immediately I was in the Spirit. Behold, there was a throne set in heaven, and one sitting on the throne 3. that looked like a jasper stone and a sardius. There was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald to look at. 4. Around the throne were twenty-four thrones. On the thrones were twenty-four elders sitting, dressed in white garments, with crowns of gold on their heads. 5. Out of the throne proceed lightnings, sounds, and thunders. There were seven lamps of fire burning before his throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. 6. Before the throne was something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal. In the middle of the throne, and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes before and behind. 7. The first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face like a man, and the fourth was like a flying eagle. 8. The four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within. They have no rest day and night, saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come!” 9. When the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to him who sits on the throne, to him who lives forever and ever, 10. the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives forever and ever, and throw their crowns before the throne, saying, 11. “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, the Holy One, to receive the glory, the honor, and the power, for you created all things, and because of your desire they existed, and were created!”

> Revelation Revelation 3

“ I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. “ Re 3:18 I did not know what this was referring to so, I put the verse into Logos and prompted with who is this to and, it gave me the response of:

This counsel is directed to the church in Laodicea ([Rev 3:1–22](https://ref.ly/Re3.1-22)). The message addresses a community whose spiritual condition is characterized as lukewarm—neither fully committed nor openly resistant—and whose members falsely believe themselves to be materially secure and spiritually complete ([Rev 3:1–22](https://ref.ly/Re3.1-22)).

The speaker offers three remedies: precious metal refined through fire to replace their false sense of wealth, garments to cover their spiritual nakedness, and eye salve to restore their spiritual vision ([Rev 3:1–22](https://ref.ly/Re3.1-22)).

Which makes sense, not to fall victim of pride in external that cover the spiritual state.

The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. Re 3:21 This seems Jesus is referring to the conquering of the flesh and the world, over coming sin in His name.

Job 33:19-28 - WEB-OFFLINEBibleGateway ↗

19. He is chastened also with pain on his bed, with continual strife in his bones, 20. so that his life abhors bread, and his soul dainty food. 21. His flesh is so consumed away that it can’t be seen. His bones that were not seen stick out. 22. Yes, his soul draws near to the pit, and his life to the destroyers. 23. “If there is beside him an angel, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show to man what is right for him; 24. then God is gracious to him, and says, ‘Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.’ 25. His flesh will be fresher than a child’s. He returns to the days of his youth. 26. He prays to God, and he is favorable to him, so that he sees his face with joy. He restores to man his righteousness. 27. He sings before men, and says, ‘I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it didn’t profit me. 28. He has redeemed my soul from going into the pit. My life will see the light.’
